Jessica is the Nurse Planner for the Ohio Nurses Association. Her nursing experience in the fast paced emergency department allowed her to comfort those during the darkest times of their lives. Now, as an educator, she shares her experiences with nurses everywhere. She is a graduate of Ohio University and currently attends the graduate nursing program at Capella University.
A childhood passion turned into a freelancing career. Jessica currently writes for various outlets in the healthcare space, including Nurse Guidance and American Nurse Today. She has also recently become a regular contributor to The Dog Files. Her lifetime goal is to publish a book (or two!).
Jessica is a dog-mom to two kids with 4 paws, Jax & Opie. Jax, the Australian Cattle Dog, is his mom’s pawtector, and Opie, the Chesepeake Bay Retriever, is the world’s all-time best cuddler. Her boys enjoy laying on her lap when she’s trying to write.
